General Set Up Info:
- The ND27ESZU plug that comes with the engine is for break in. After break in, replace with ND29ESZU.
- Place a small tie wrap around the orange spark plug boot. This will insure the internal connector does not spread causing the cap to come off.
- The air gap between the rotar and coil legs should be .010″ to .012″. Note, if there is any excess potting on the coil legs it should be gently removed.
- The timing should be set at about .085″ B.T.D.C.
- Insure your water pump is connected and you have water in the radiator.
- Insure gas has 8oz of caster oil blend to the gallon.
- Insure proper chain tension and alignment.
- Insure all nuts/bolts are tight.
